As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food preparation and presentation meet our high standards. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and the kitchen team to maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your assigned section.
* Assist in developing new menu items and specials.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
* Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to minimize waste.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
* Ensure consistency in portion sizes and food quality.
* Work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
* Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience in pub food or casual dining is a plus.
* Passion for cooking and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Fluent in English (German is a plus).
* Must have EU Passport
