We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Representative with our sister company Innovative Brands. In this role, you will drive a van on an established route, making daily deliveries to key retail, independent and foodservice customers, ensuring stock is in-date and presented well.
Responsibilities:
Drive a van and sell products to customers. Manage and rotate stock.
Deliver purchase orders and inform existing customers of new products.
Responsible for managing company interests with customers at store level.
Liaise with the sales department weekly regarding customer specific promotions and new listings.
Develop a relationship with each relevant member of the team in the customer stores you visit.
Be pro-active in understanding your sales area, follow-up all contacts; process and manage your customer database ensuring it is up to date at all times.
Promote brand awareness, positive product impressions and increase sales through product demonstration and consumer engagement.
Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.
Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported.
Skills and Experience:
2 + years' experience working with FMCG, ideally within the fresh food sector.
Must have a full clean driver's licence.
Must have good driving Skills with good knowledge of relevant roads.
Previous experience in face-to-face sales.
Ability to build positive relationships with retail stakeholders
Excellent communicator and able to work independently.
Efficient planning, time management and organisation skills.
A confident self-starter who can work on own initiative.
