Overview
Delivery Driver and Furniture & Bedding Assembler role at Harvey Norman Ireland. This is a white glove in-home delivery/assembly operation and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Delivery and assembly of furniture & bedding products in customers' homes.
* Ensuring all products are loaded and wrapped safely to protect against damages.
* POD Management.
* Be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and Assembly/Delivery service.
* Adherence to the company policies and procedures at all times.
* Perform other related duties as required.
* Ensuring your vehicle is kept maintained and any faults or defects are reported immediately upon inspection.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must hold a clean driving license category B.
* Experience with assembling Furniture & Bedding.
* Experience with hardware tools such as screwdrivers, staple guns, drills etc.
* Good communication & ability to work as a team.
* Well-organized and adept at problem-solving.
* Flexible and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers expectations are exceeded.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent telephone skills.
* Positive attitude. Customer oriented; be respectful to customers as the highest priority of the business.
* Hardworking, conscientious, & self-motivated; possessing a high degree of self-confidence and maturity.
* Team & collaborative working; contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives.
* Continuous development; be prepared to undertake in-house and external training to enhance performance and the customer experience. Understand new technologies/designs and any new product innovations that require new and bespoke installation or connectivity methods.

Additional Information
* This is a permanent contract subject to a 6 month probationary period.
* We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
