We're looking for an
AVI Support Engineer
to join our product management team and develop a deep understanding of the
Avi Vantage Platform
. This role involves hands-on work, strong technical troubleshooting, and close collaboration with customers and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand customer requirements and manage priorities independently.
* Communicate effectively between customers and engineering teams.
* Perform detailed
root cause analysis (RCA)
for technical issues.
* Report and track product issues, ensuring timely resolution.
* Create and update
knowledge base articles
to prevent recurring issues.
* Act as a
Subject Matter Expert
for at least one Avi deployment or integration (e.g., vSphere, ESXi, NSX).
Required Skills:
* Strong understanding of
networking layers
and
troubleshooting
.
* Hands-on with platforms like
vSphere, ESXi, and NSX
.
* Solid grasp of
L4–L7 protocols
,
HTTP/HTML/JavaScript
, and
network components
(Routing, Switching, Firewall, TCP/IP).
* Knowledge of
Linux OS
is a plus.
* Familiarity with
REST APIs
or programming in
Python/Java
is an advantage.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
