Product & Pricing Configuration SpecialistJob Description We are looking for an experienced Product & Pricing Configuration Specialist. As part of our dynamic Global Finance Operations team, you'll play a critical role in bringing our products and solutions to market.
Based in Dublin (hybrid), this position is essential for ensuring a harmonized product setup and part number creation across SUSE's systems, directly impacting our go-to-market efficiency.
What You'll Do: You'll be the backbone of our product lifecycle in our systems, executing product-related changes and requests from Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Product & Pricing Setup: Drive the operational setup, creation, and maintenance of product part numbers and pricing within SUSE Salesforce.
Subscription & Entitlement Management: Create and maintain SUSE subscriptions, maintenance delivery part numbers, entitlements, and update channels, including registration codes in SubHub.
Market Readiness: Create, distribute, and publish product announcements and maintain/publish SUSE price lists on a regular cadence, ensuring product readiness for market.
Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end subscription and entitlement delivery process, providing crucial support to Customer Support, Partner Support, and Finance teams for part number and revenue recognition issues.
Process Improvement: Identify process gaps, contribute to system enhancement projects, establish best practices, and develop training documentation.
Collaboration & Communication: Actively communicate relevant changes to sales and operations teams, train peers, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive efficiency and problem resolution.
What You'll Bring: Experience: A couple of years of relevant experience in a finance, sales support, or operational role within an enterprise high-tech or software environment.
Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Google Suite.
Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and Jira is a significant plus.
Problem-Solver: Strong organizational and time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborator & Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a diverse international team.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential.
Command of a second European language (German, French, Dutch) is a plus.
