Our client is a well‑established specialist contractor operating across the construction sector in Ireland. They deliver high‑quality window, door, and façade installation packages on a range of commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public sector projects, working with main contractors, developers, and design teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Overview
They are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple installation projects, manage site delivery, and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. This role could also suit an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to step up into a broader Contracts Manager position with increased responsibility across multiple schemes and greater commercial oversight.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of multiple construction and installation projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to specification.
Provide senior oversight across site operations, coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and internal departments to support successful project delivery.
Take ownership of project budgets, including labour, variations, third‑party products, and overall commercial performance.
Attend and lead pre‑contract, handover, and key project meetings to ensure all programme and technical requirements are clearly defined.
Manage installation programmes in conjunction with main contractors and site teams, ensuring all sites are prepared and risks are addressed in advance.
Ensure health and safety standards and associated documentation are fully compliant with legislation and company procedures.
Monitor project progress and installation quality, resolving site issues and contractual matters in a timely and professional manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders through clear and proactive communication.
Provide regular reports to senior management on project performance, including programme, budget, health and safety, delays, and project risks.
Requirements
Strong site management experience within construction or installation environments.
Previous experience in a Contracts Manager role or in a senior site‑based delivery position such as Project Manager or similar.
Good understanding of the commercial window and door sector (not essential)
Ability to manage multiple live sites and coordinate competing priorities effectively.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project), budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge in contract administration, commercial management, and project controls
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Strong working knowledge of health and safety requirements on site.
