Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Location: North & South Wicklow Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week) Reference: MDT-JD An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality supports to adults with intellectual disabilities across the Wicklow region.
This role offers the chance to lead and develop physiotherapy services within a collaborative, person-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage a clinical caseload, providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and ongoing review.
Offer clinical leadership and supervision within both the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments.
Apply advanced clinical reasoning to support adults with a range of complex physical and developmental needs.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary team initiatives.
Essential Requirements National Third Level Qualification in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
Registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist.
Membership with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
Applicants with international qualifications must hold ISCP accreditation and provide supporting evidence.
