Training and Development Instructor
The Rehabilitative Training Programme is a comprehensive training initiative aimed at equipping learners with skills to develop personally, socially, and vocationally. The programme supports learners in making future choices and progressing towards greater levels of independence and integration.
The successful candidate will work closely with the programme team to deliver high-quality training services, fostering a person-centred approach that values diversity and promotes inclusivity. Key responsibilities include developing individual training plans, delivering systematic training according to specified curricula, and maintaining accurate records of learner progress.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong educational background, ideally in Youth and Community Work, teaching, or adult education. A specific training qualification, such as Train the Trainer, is also highly desirable. Additionally, experience working in specialized training environments and with individuals with intellectual disabilities and ASD is essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate initiative, innovation, and flair in carrying out duties, while maintaining excellent communication and teamwork skills. They will be responsible for evaluating the rehabilitative and vocational needs of each learner, producing profiles of those needs, and contributing to the development of Individual Action Plans.
