About Your New Job
As an Electrician (QC), you will be joining a highly skilled Project Delivery Team and play a central role in the installation, inspection, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems. You’ll operate primarily in the Munster region and report to the Automation Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems, MCCs, wiring, and cable containment.
* Carrying out Quality Control (QC) inspections in line with company procedures and Safe Electric standards.
* Installing and commissioning telemetry panels, instrumentation, antennas, and variable speed drives.
* Liaising with stakeholders during FAT testing and providing QC feedback and documentation.
* Supervising Safe Electric compliance and supporting colleagues across larger project installations.
What Skills You Need
To apply, you will need:
* A completed Solas Electrical Apprenticeship and Electrical QC qualification
* Strong experience with MCC control circuits, electrical repairs, and working on complex installations
* Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights (training provided)
* The ability to read technical diagrams, P&IDs, and schematics
* A clean driver’s licence, Safe Pass, and strong communication and team collaboration skills
