Healthcare Chef Roles in Limerick
We are seeking skilled Chefs to join our team in Limerick. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to patients, staff, and visitors.
The roles involve leading kitchen operations, managing food service standards, and supervising junior staff members. A strong focus on food safety, hygiene, and quality is essential.
About the Roles:
- Lead kitchen operations and oversee food service standards as a Healthcare Chef Grade 1
- Support day-to-day meal preparation and food service as a Healthcare Chef Grade 2
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
* Safeguard patient welfare by adhering to strict food safety protocols
* Maintain positive relationships with clinical teams and dietitians
* Supervise junior staff members, promoting teamwork and effective communication
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification
* Experience in healthcare or high-volume catering settings
* HACCP knowledge, up-to-date with food safety and cook-chill processes
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
