Our client, a scaling local manufacturing company in Dundalk, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant eager to advance their career. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Conduct detailed cost centre analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Support and implement cost control initiatives across departments. Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, developing new procedures as required. Assist in internal and external audits, working closely with auditors and the Senior Finance Manager. Act as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and strategic guidance. Work closely with the wider finance team on month-end and year-end processes. Key Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA Or CPA. Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role within industry. Experience in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling. Experience using accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle or similar ERP systems). Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
