OverviewJoin to apply for the Site Manager - Co.Louth, Ireland role at O'Hanlon & Farrell.The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company as one of Northern Ireland's long established Building Contractors with nearly 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland and UK.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all elements of SHEQ on site including ensuring all operatives are working safely on site and adherence to HSA rules and regulations.Work closely with the Contracts Manager to adhere to the construction Programme, including effective sequencing of trades to maximise quality and minimise rework, while monitoring resources, labour, plant, site setup and other overheads.Liaising with clients and reporting on daily progress, and collaborating with professional staff (Design Team Members, Key Project Staff & Utility Providers).Supervising on-site contracted staff and daily management of sub-contractors and labour staff.Carrying out daily safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety is always adhered to.Preparing site reports to update the Contracts Manager and ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.Monitoring progress to meet weekly and monthly deadlines.Ensuring work processes meet ROI building regulations.Managing material take-off measures with the Company Buyer to ensure materials are on site in a timely manner to meet the Build Programme.Liaising with Design Team for accurate collation of BCAR Handover & Compliance Documentation with the Contracts Manager.Proactively identifying design clashes on site and coordinating with all parties to resolve without impacting progress or the Build Programme.ExperienceDemonstrable experience in dealing with Local Authority connections (e.g., Storm Water connections into Local Authority Main line provisions).Demonstrable experience of Irish Water (Uisce Eireann) requirements for installations & connections of new watermain & foul line provisions.Demonstrable experience in the delivery of residential housing schemes.Proficient in collating QA checks on-site from sub-structure to superstructure & internal fit-out packages.Requirements5+ years site management experience.Strong knowledge of timber frame residential schemes.First Aider trained & relevant CSR/CSCS trainer to Site Manager level.Ability to work on own initiative.Self-motivated and dedicated to meet weekly and monthly targets.Analytical and decision-making skills.Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.Excellent written and oral presentation skills.Experience in Irish Water regulations & compliance legislations.Valid driving licence.What You’ll Receive (Benefits)30 days annual leave.Company vehicle & fuel card.Pension.Training & development.Excellent career progression opportunities.Gym membership or alternative wellness program.How to applyPlease send your CV directly via the link provided.
