Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Person In Charge at our centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of duties within the centre, ensuring Personal Plans, Risk Assessments and Behavioural Support Plans are up to date, and that services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.
The Person In Charge will provide the highest quality of care and support to individuals who use this service, and will be responsible for meeting regulation compliance in accordance with Health ACT 2007 (Care and support of residents in designated centres for persons (Children and Adults; with disabilities) Regulations 2013.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure Personal Plans, Risk Assessments and Behavioural Support Plans are up to date
* Deliver duties within the centre in line with regulations
* Provide mentorship and leadership to team members
* Oversee service delivery across shifts
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A Level 7/8 Degree in a Health or Social related qualification (or suitable equivalent qualification with management qualification in healthcare)
* Minimum 3 years managerial experience within a similar health or social care setting
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and judgment making critical decisions and recommendations
* Excellent organisational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
