Medforce are recruiting a Quality and Compliance Officer on behalf of our client who operates a residential service boasting a life-sharing community where people with intellectual disabilities and support needs live, work, and grow alongside volunteers and professionals in a spirit of mutual respect, equality, and shared responsibility. This role supports quality, compliance, and service development within the national disability sector program. Duties may evolve based on organisational needs. Key Responsibilities Support the design and implementation of audits and quality improvement initiatives. Lead audits, develop and monitor action plans. Monitor regulatory compliance and report on implementation progress. Contribute to data systems that support evidence-based decisions. Maintain and analyse compliance and quality improvement data. Support and monitor KPIs across services. Produce reports with relevant statistics and analysis. Deliver training and mentoring on systems and quality standards. Coordinate implementation of new systems, policies, and processes. Engage stakeholders through surveys, consultations, and data collection. Ensure compliance policies are current and effectively implemented. Review and update service policies as needed, including accessible versions for community members. Immediately report safeguarding or serious non-compliance concerns. Support Day Service Leads in meeting New Directions regulations. Collaborate with other functions on compliance and service development efforts. Qualifications and Requirements Degree in Social Care, ID Nursing, Psychology, Behavioural Support, or related field. Qualification in Quality Management and experience with quality systems/auditing preferred. Strong understanding of intellectual disability support. Proven experience in quality, safety, and service development in a social care setting. Full drivers licence and access to a car required. Working Hours 40 hours per week, typically 9:00am5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Hours may vary per line manager direction.
