The Role & Purpose
Our Production electricians will be trained to work in critical electrical roles within our production and finishing processes. This role will hold the balance of working across our functions. Connecting cable and control boxes on large units, electrically testing transformers to high customer specification and occasionally working with maintenance and visiting customer site.
The role requires shift work with fixed schedules and overtime where necessary.
Electricians operate from our factory environment and enjoy the benefits of standard hours, pension, 26 days holidays per year, additional service pay and holidays, overtime, training etc.
Responsibilities
6. Cable joining and termination.
7. Following production schematics
8. Fault finding and diagnosis.
9. Inspecting and testing electrical systems
10. Testing according to customer specification and ISO 17025
11. Flexible across electrical work
Desired Qualifications & Experience
12. Qualified Electrician
13. Use of testing equipment and hand tools
14. Experience of schematics
15. Demonstrated organisational skills.
