Job Description
We are seeking Carpenters for immediate start at our locations in Co. Laois and Co. Dublin. The role involves the fabrication, assembly and maintenance of custom wood structures and landscaping features.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Fabrication and assembly of custom wood structures and landscaping features in a workshop setting.
Cut, shape, assemble, erect, maintain and repair various types of wood structures and fittings.
Make, alter and repair structural and other woodwork at a workbench or workshop.
Construct, erect and install framed wooden structures in a landscape setting.
Fit, assemble and alter internal and external fixtures of buildings such as walls, doors, door and window frames, facings and paneling.
Build and install bespoke wood solutions for clients across various sectors.
Build and assemble custom wood structures such as pergolas, planter boxes, fences, decks (pre-fabrication) and outdoor furniture.
Interpret design drawings, blueprints and specifications provided by the landscaping team.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood materials with precision.
Operate and maintain woodworking tools and machinery safely.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and design accuracy.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet project requirements and timelines.
Manage materials efficiently and report supply needs.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a carpenter.
Competent to perform all job duties listed above.
Carpentry/Joinery certification preferred but not essential.
Strong woodworking skills and attention to detail.
Proven experience as a carpenter or woodworker (shop-based experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience in custom outdoor structure fabrication.
Familiarity with landscaping design elements and materials is a bonus.
Basic knowledge of finishing techniques (staining, sealing, etc.).

Annual remuneration: €36,605.00Pay rate: €18.05 per hourNumber of hours per week: 39
