As a Technical & Stability Technician, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of the technical team, contributing to excellence in regulatory and technical support to our business partners.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.
Stability
1. Management of the stability programme to include stability testing of commercial finished products and new products which have been transferred from R&D.
2. Generation of stability protocols and reports (including interim reports) for the above as required.
3. Assist with investigation of stability and other out of specification results as required.
4. Preparation of product samples to be placed on stability as required.
5. Co-ordination of maintenance and calibration of stability chambers.
Regulatory/Technical
1. Undertake and assist with agreed product registrations, including medical device and medicinal product technical files and dossiers, and assist with product development activities if required.
2. Compile and assist with Post Market Surveillance protocols, searches and reports.
3. Assist/carry out review of artwork and other documentation such as change controls as required.
4. Assist with generation & up-dating stability/regulatory procedures and documents as required.
5. Carry out technical testing required in response to customer queries, regulatory requests etc.
6. Assist in providing technical and regulatory support to internal Kersia personnel and customers.
7. Assist with internal and external compliance audits or regulatory inspections.
General
1. Ensure conformance to Good Laboratory Practice, maintaining the laboratory in a clean and tidy condition.
2. Work closely in a team environment within the Technical Departments and productively contribute to problem solving and idea generation.
3. Conform to Company and other regulatory requirements with respect of GMP, health & safety etc.
4. Ensure highest level of teamwork and cooperation between departments at all times, including maintaining harmonious relationships with all other work colleagues.
What We're Looking For
1. Minimum degree in chemistry or related discipline.
2. 1-2 years relevant industry experience desirable but not essential; graduate applications will be considered.
3. Proficient in use of MS Office packages.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
5. Working knowledge of laboratory instruments and good laboratory techniques essential.
6. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, organise and have good time management skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
