Electrosurgery Innovation Role
The role is to contribute to the development of innovative technologies and products for electrosurgery applications, focusing on improving patient safety and outcomes during surgery. The position involves working with a multi-disciplined team at our centre in Cork, where you will establish customer needs while designing solutions.
* The successful candidate will design, develop, refine, and evaluate electro-mechanical components or subsystems for medical devices.
* You will use concurrent engineering techniques to reduce product time-to-market while adhering to project deadlines and costs.
* This role requires leadership skills as you plan and execute projects with occasional team member training on technical aspects of commercialization.
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering with 6+ years' experience. Technical expertise includes optimizing complex designs using DFM principles, engineering drawings models applying GD&T & CAE tools and knowledge about materials manufacturing processes & technology support.
The ability communicate plans & technical information effectively is essential as well as some Business Acumen.
