Contract type: Permanent.Qualifications & ExperienceWe ideally need you to have most of the following on your CV:7+ years’ experience in delivering scalable Analytics and AI solutions in large, complex organisations, focusing on end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and AI initiatives.Proven track record in leading large-scale data science projects across industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) delivering measurable business outcomes through AI and analytics.Hands-on expertise in technical solution delivery from ideation to production-scale deployment, leveraging modern data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.Strong advisory and consulting experience, translating business challenges into data-driven AI strategies aligned with organisational goals.Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities in data, analytics, and AI, including crafting pitches and proposals that drive revenue growth.Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.Proven leadership experience, managing and mentoring diverse data science and technology teams.Deep expertise across cloud-native solutions (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI), open-source frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and enterprise integration.Mastery of Data & AI delivery methodologies (Agile, Crisp-DM, MLOps, DataOps, design thinking) with iterative, human-centered solution development.Extensive experience in enterprise data management, including BI, reporting, and advanced analytics techniques (EDA, data mining, data wrangling, data visualization, predictive modelling, causal inference, optimisation).Hands-on expertise in ML algorithms (Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning, Generative AI) with NLP and AI for sustainability or related domains.Experience scaling AI systems, designing and deploying MLOps pipelines (MLflow, Kubeflow) and embedding Responsible AI principles.Strong knowledge of regulatory and ethical considerations, including EU AI Act, GDPR, CSRD, and other AI/data privacy standards.Exceptional communication skills to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences.Passion for innovation with ability to stay ahead of trends (AutoML, synthetic data, AI orchestration, quantum-inspired algorithms).Active participation in the Data & AI ecosystem through industry forums, open-source communities, or thought leadership.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified ML, Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional Data Scientist, DAMA CDMP) with optional AI ethics or MLOps certifications.Your ResponsibilitiesYour work will be dynamic and impactful. Core responsibilities include:Lead end-to-end Data & AI programs, partnering with clients to frame, shape, and deliver transformative value through advanced analytics and AI solutions.Identify and pitch new Data & AI opportunities, crafting proposals that leverage trends like Generative AI, real-time analytics, and AI-driven decision-making.Collaborate with industry experts to develop market-leading Data & AI services, integrating technologies such as edge AI, federated learning, and AI for ESG reporting.Inspire and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning while building KPMG’s Data & AI capabilities.Drive the responsible use of AI, embedding ethical AI principles and ensuring compliance with global regulations.Lead and mentor junior team members, nurturing talent and fostering a diverse, inclusive team environment.Your Team & BenefitsKPMG offers a broad range of Data & AI services across clients globally.
