Our company is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to oversee the management of various construction projects. Key responsibilities include establishing and promoting best practice in health, safety, and environmental matters.
To ensure accurate setting out methods are implemented, you will work closely with site teams to guarantee that drawings and specifications contain sufficient information for successful project completion.
Additionally, you will formally request missing information in a timely manner, complete quality checks according to company procedures, and communicate effectively with foremen and supervisors to maintain a thorough understanding of provided information.
Your role will also involve supporting the team with written risk assessments and method statements, maintaining accurate daily site diaries, and ensuring effective communication with the commercial team regarding contractual issues.
The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of experience on civil engineering projects, with a proven ability to produce, implement, and manage safe systems of work.
You must have training with the latest surveying/CAD techniques, be proficient in using setting out equipment, and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
A deep understanding of current civil engineering legislation, including Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, is essential for this position.
