Galway | Full Time | 40,******,000 per annum This is a hands-on evening supervisor role for someone who likes being on the floor, running the shift, and taking real ownership of how things perform.
You ll be the person setting the tone in the evenings, keeping production moving, standards high, and teams focused from cook through to pack.

Proven experience supervising or leading teams in a food manufacturing or processing environment Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC, traceability, and food safety controls Experience managing KPIs such as output, yields, waste, labour efficiency, and downtime Confident people leader with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable Strong problem-solver, comfortable troubleshooting production or quality issues in real time High attention to detail, particularly around food safety documentation and controls Proactive approach to Health Safety and compliance Calm, organised leadership style with a strong presence on the floor What will your role look like?
Leading evening shift operations across all cooked meats processes from cook through to pack Managing staffing levels, line set-ups, and resources to meet production plans Running shift start-ups, toolbox talks, and end-of-shift handovers Driving performance against KPIs for output, quality, safety, and efficiency Monitoring yields, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency, with clear reporting Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, GMP, BRC, allergen controls, and site procedures Verifying cooking and chilling controls, hygiene standards, and documentation accuracy Working closely with QA and Maintenance to resolve quality or equipment issues Promoting a strong Health Safety culture on the evening shift Driving continuous improvement in waste reduction, process flow, housekeeping, and team engagement This is a key leadership role with real ownership of evening shift performance and the opportunity to shape standards, pace, and day-to-day culture as the cooked meats operation continues to grow.
