Responsibilities Lead the delivery of mechanical design projects from concept through to prototype and production.
Translate system and functional requirements into detailed engineering solutions.
Develop innovative designs for new products, service fixes, and product enhancements.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, customer specifications, and cost targets.
Produce accurate design documentation including BOMs and technical drawings.
Support prototype builds and testing phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Criteria Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong grasp of engineering principles and hands-on problem-solving.
Proficient in 3D CAD systems.
Effective communicator with the ability to work across teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
