The purpose of this role is to assist in managing all aspects of a diversified real estate portfolio valued at c. €400m with an emphasis on the residential assets but some commercial assets as well. The assets are held by Davy client pension accounts. The ideal candidate will be personable, ambitious and highly numerate having an objective of extending their experience in both finance and real estate. Key Responsibilities: Allocation of rent to client accounts. This role will include ongoing initiatives to automate this process; Administration of expenses including VAT; Assistance in the acquisition and sales processes; Assistance in the annual valuation process; Assistance in the annual LPT process; Assistance in annual RTB registration process; Liaison with professional advisors such as solicitors, agents and property managers; Addressing ad hoc queries from clients and their advisers; Designing of initiatives to deal with areas giving rise to queries.
Key relationshipsThe investments being managed in this area are held by clients of Davy Private Clients and Davy Select. As a result the key relationships are our colleagues in those teams who are the main points of contact for the clients in question.The role will also have significant contact with other teams in Davy including finance, client operations, compliance and risk. In addition, the role will come into daily contact with solicitors, agents and other groups external to Davy.Requirements Graduate or similar background which shows numeracy; Can demonstrate some understanding of finance, pensions and/or real estate; Attention to detail in all aspects of their role; Ambitious about growing a career in finance; Interested in further education.
Excellent reporting skills to include asset and portfolio analysis and client communications; Strong communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships; Strong general administration skills, efficient typing skills and a high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Excellent organisational skills; Experience in managing internal and external teams; An ability to prioritise workloads.
