Job Title: Site Manager – Education Project
Location: County Wicklow
Salary: €80,000‑€90,000 + full package (vehicle or travel allowance, bonus, pension, healthcare etc.)
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for all on‑site management of a large education project (new school or campus), ensuring the works are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Manage a large team of subcontractors, foremen, site workers.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety laws and building regulations.
Oversee scheduling, quality control, procurement coordination, site logistics.
Required Experience & Qualifications
At least 6-8 years experience managing medium to large scale construction / building projects, ideally in education or institutional building.
Proven track record delivering complex projects in Ireland (or the UK if equivalent).
Degree or certification in Construction Management / Civil Engineering or a strong trade background with demonstrable managerial roles.
Excellent leadership, commercial awareness, ability to forecast / control costs.
Strong understanding of Irish building regulations.
Full driving license.
