This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy production environment, reporting to the Production Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and supervising the packaging team to ensure daily production targets are achievedCoordinating shift activities across 12-hour day and night shiftsOverseeing packing, labelling and preparation of products for dispatchEnsuring packaging equipment is operated safely and efficiently (supporting training where required)Monitoring product quality and ensuring all outputs meet company standardsConducting and recording quality and compliance checksPromoting and maintaining a clean, safe and organised packaging areaEnsuring full adherence to site safety, quality, hygiene, traffic management and environmental policiesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within the packaging departmentAssisting with staff training, performance monitoring and team developmentReporting production issues, downtime and performance updates to managementRequirementsPrevious experience in a packaging or production environment (essential)Previous team lead, supervisor or senior operative experience (preferred)Experience working shift work (12-hour day and night shifts)Strong leadership and team coordination skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable, organised and safety-consciousAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentWillingness to lead by example and support team membersWhat We OfferFull-time, permanent positionShift-based role (12-hour day and night shifts)Salary negotiable depending on experience (DOE)Full training and ongoing development opportunitiesOpportunity to work with a growing renewable products company
