Job Description:
Crosscare seeks a skilled professional to provide key working, case management and care planning support to Ukrainian young people aged 12 to 24 who are experiencing problems with trauma, substance use and mental health. The ideal candidate will also support the families of these young people.
Responsibilities:
To identify, engage and work directly with Ukrainian young people and their families who are experiencing difficulties related to trauma, substance use or mental health. Develop strategic partnerships with other agencies in the area.
Create avenues and structures for both therapeutic and practical support for Ukrainian parents and young people with an open-door policy for families to re-engage after disengaging. Understand service user needs considering family influence culture displacement mental health peer group gender sexuality on beliefs behaviors facilitate therapeutic groups if appropriate.
