Based primarily in Dublin, the focus of this role is to support our client by delivering exceptional service through best-in-class merchandising, brand promotion, and reporting. As a Merchandiser for Dulux, you will embody the CPM values of Freedom, Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Integrity and will support your team by example through your passion and commitment for the role.
Responsibilities:
1. Merchandising all relevant stock in store to ensure displays are fully stocked and laid out as per planogram.
2. Conducting quality control to ensure all stock is displayed correctly, displays are clean, and POS is fully stocked and visible.
3. Building relationships and maintaining strong communication with in-store contacts to foster positive working relationships on behalf of CPM and Dulux. Also, addressing customer queries while working on the shop floor.
4. Completing simple reports on work completed, including photos and some ordering.
5. Maintaining planograms & displays, ensuring adherence to any agreed space and shelf layouts in store.
6. Monitoring distribution & availability, ensuring sufficient stock is on display, with particular emphasis on core lines.
7. Delivering core client and company KPIs to ensure the success and sustainability of the team, including 100% call coverage, quality, compliance, and reporting.
8. Leading by example through consistently excellent behaviors that support a professional environment and commitment to serving our client to the highest standards.
9. Enhancing awareness of the client’s brands in any location and ensuring high product visibility and quality on all products.
10. Building in-store relationships to promote CPM and the client with key contacts.
11. Providing accurate reporting through tablet and phone technology.
12. Learning new ways of working to support evolving company needs and client expectations, and supporting the Field Manager to positively influence the team.
Qualifications:
* Background in merchandising and/or hardware.
* Computer literacy—ability to send photos via email and complete reports/audits as required.
* An understanding of the Home Improvement / DIY market is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Ability to undertake physical activity, including lifting and moving heavy products.
* Flexibility to complete additional work during peak times.
