This permanent role, born out of continued growth, will suit a qualified accountant (3+ years PQE) with exposure to complex, dynamic companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in Group reporting, technical accounting, and continuous process improvement across a global, market-leading business. Key Responsibilities Prepare the monthly Board financial report, posting consolidation journals, liaising with divisions, and analysing key data. Support the statutory consolidation process during interim and year-end reporting. Take ownership of technical accounting areas including impairment testing, defined benefit pensions, and IFRS 16 disclosures. Prepare and review key financial sections of the Annual Report, and collaborate with other Group functions on non-financial sections such as CSRD disclosures. Manage purchase price allocations and fair value accounting for acquisitions, including intangible asset calculations. Drive system improvements and optimise reporting using a newly implemented consolidation tool. Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, preparing reports and technical memos as required. Oversee the preparation and review of UK and Irish statutory accounts. Support divisional finance teams with technical accounting queries. Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement within the Group Finance control environment. Key Skills Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally Big 4 trained. Minimum 3 years PQE in practice (PLC audit experience is a must) or industry. Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail. Experience with consolidation tools is an advantage. Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Organised, collaborative, and self-motivated with strong communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
