Senior Technical Project Manager
12-month Fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities
* Project & Program Leadership: Oversee all phases of project management, from initiation through closure. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, foster strong team engagement, and provide mentorship to both functional and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Team & People Management: Lead and inspire large, often cross-functional and multi-site teams. Guide teams effectively, offering constructive feedback to functional managers regarding team and individual performance.
* Technical & Technology Oversight: Address and manage the technical complexities of new technology implementation and process development. Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate moderate to high technical risks.
* Process Excellence: Drive teams to complete tasks in alignment with current policies and best practices. Maintain organized documentation, develop scaling plans, and champion process improvements that benefit multiple projects.
* Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between teams and stakeholders. Lead project reviews, maintain accurate meeting minutes, manage issue logs and metrics, and ensure effective cross-functional communication. Facilitate the resolution of complex, cross-team issues.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor's Hons Degree in Engineering, Quality, Science or related field required.
* 5 years' experience in Project Management essential.
* 5 years technical professional experience in medical device or a regulated industry required.
