We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience, and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets. We are recruiting an Advanced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Ireland.
You will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC3000).
Your responsibilities include validating customer requests, developing and maintaining customer relationships, planning and executing upgrades/migrations, all while ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Represent Honeywell in all customer interactions in a manner consistent with Honeywell values.Ensure safety by meeting corporate, customer, and legal obligations related to Health, Safety, and Environment (training, PPE use, safety observations).Identify and develop opportunities for business growth in cooperation with sales, actively engaging with customers to develop solutions and generate sales leads.Perform system upgrades and modifications, including installation, configuration, implementation, and commissioning of Honeywell's product range, including industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party DCS, and SCADA products, tailored to customer specifications.Maintain customer equipment through regular preventive maintenance and prompt interventions.Diagnose system issues and escalate for resolution as needed.Deliver services promptly, respecting agreed timelines.Adhere to internal processes for tracking actions, submitting timesheets, and ensuring on-time invoicing.Provide application support based on business needs and resource planning.Participate in progress meetings with customers upon management request.Possess demonstrable senior experience in field service engineering or similar roles.Hold a degree or equivalent apprenticeship qualification in electronics, automation, control/instrumentation, cyber, or computer science.Have at least one Level 4 CEAT or two Level 3 CEAT certifications.Experience with Experion PKS hardware and software, Hiway, TDC, TPS systems, including LCN, UCN, Hiway equipment, and PC/networking.Knowledge of electronic systems installation, configuration, and implementation.Understanding of the project lifecycle from requirements to delivery.Awareness of service agreement cost structures and ability to make cost-effective decisions.Project management skills with the ability to utilize project documentation.Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).Hold a full Ireland driving license.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
