Senior Quantity Surveyor Position:
This senior role focuses on overseeing the entire cost management lifecycle for a construction project. Responsibilities include creating and managing tenders, contracts, and budget reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of tender documents, including detailed bills of quantities with architects and/or clients.
* Valuations, variations, subcontractors' measurement and payment, along with completion of job costing reports on a monthly basis.
* Cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
* Risk management, value engineering, and cost control.
* Procurement strategy advice.
* Commercial risk identification, analysis, and response development.
* Cost preparation and analysis for tenders.
* Subcontractor allocation.
* Detailed progress report writing.
Requirements
* 10 years of experience in quantity surveying.
* Strong time management and communication skills.
* Computer literacy and ability to prepare reports and administer necessary paperwork.
Preferred Qualifications
* Professional certifications such as MCIPS or equivalent.
* Relevant industry experience.
