Role: Warehouse Supervisor Salary: €40,000-€45,000 Duration: Full-time Location: Southwest Dublin Warehouse Supervisor Prominent distribution centre in South Dublin is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead its logistics operations. This is a full-time, permanent role operating Monday to Friday during daytime hours, though flexibility is essential to meet changing business demands. You will bring extensive experience in warehouse management, particularly within high-volume distribution environments where precision, speed, and strong leadership are critical to success. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will take full ownership of daily operational functions including goods-in, picking, packing and dispatch. Leading a team of operatives, you will be responsible for driving performance and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Your ability to manage throughput, maintain order accuracy and meet tight dispatch deadlines will be key. This is a hands-on role that requires proactive leadership, clear communication and a results-oriented approach. You will be expected to identify inefficiencies, implement corrective actions, and deliver targeted training to improve team output. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with transport, inventory control and customer service departments to ensure coordination across the supply chain. Health and safety will be a core responsibility, with oversight of all warehouse protocols to ensure a safe working environment. You will manage the use and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) and monitor daily forklift activity to ensure compliance and efficiency. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of daily warehouse activity, including inbound deliveries, order picking, packing and outbound dispatch operations. Track operational metrics and produce regular reports to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement. Deliver hands-on training and ongoing support to enhance the skills of the team. Uphold strict standards for workplace safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance across all warehouse functions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining processes and introducing efficiency-enhancing practices. Coordinate closely with logistics, inventory management, and customer service teams to maintain seamless operations. Ensure thorough documentation of warehouse activities, maintaining accurate records and operational logs. Requirements: Demonstrated background in supervising teams within a warehouse or logistics environment. In-depth understanding of warehouse workflows, operational procedures, and distribution processes. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop staff. Skilled in navigating and utilising Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for operational efficiency. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively. Solid grasp of health and safety standards relevant to warehouse operations. Clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing. Willingness to adapt to changing shift patterns and operational requirements. Possession of a valid EU Category B driving licence advantageous.
