Job Description Summary
This position is part of the Global Corporate Networking team, supporting corporate offices and datacenter locations worldwide. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, managing, and designing the network. The role requires hands-on experience in network design and operations, and participation in architecture, design, implementation, and L3 support across multi-vendor production wired and wireless networks spanning multiple data centers and corporate locations. You will deliver network implementation and remediation projects, support network availability, and collaborate with enterprise engineering teams to drive automation and efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and drive the technical vision and strategy for complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and long-term goals.
Architect and implement high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems to support enterprise-level applications and services.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers across teams, fostering technical growth and promoting best practices.
Partner with product managers, operations, and other engineering leaders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Lead efforts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical system issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
Research and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to advance the organization’s technical capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
Advocate for and enforce coding best practices, design patterns, and technical standards across engineering teams.
Facilitate architecture reviews, code reviews, and design discussions to ensure technical excellence and alignment with organizational standards.
Identify and implement improvements in development workflows, automation, and system monitoring to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Serve as a technical authority in internal and external forums, contributing to the organization's reputation for engineering excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
