Project Manager We are currently working with our client based in West Cork, who are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead residential and commercial retrofit and insulation projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident managing teams, and has a strong understanding of SEAI schemes. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, while ensuring a smooth experience for both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: Oversee the entire lifecycle of retrofit and insulation projects, from initial site survey through design to final installation. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Define project scope and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate procurement and allocation of resources such as materials, labour, and internal office support. Monitor progress and adapt plans as needed to maintain project goals. Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing insulation installation team. Assign tasks, set expectations, and ensure quality standards are met throughout each project. Coordinate with sales, administrative, and finance teams to streamline project delivery. Ensure SEAI grant applications are completed accurately and submitted on time. Provide all necessary project documentation to the office team. Collaborate with finance to monitor and report on project costs. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout each project. Manage client expectations and address any issues that arise, such as unexpected structural problems or supply chain delays. Provide clear, proactive communication and develop solutions to keep projects on track. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in retrofit works or a related field. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Energy Engineering, Project Management, or a trade background with upskilling. Proven experience in project management within the energy efficiency, retrofit, or construction sector. Strong knowledge of SEAI schemes, building regulations, and sustainable construction practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to on-site challenges. Strong organisational and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
