Our client, a public sector organisation, is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their Publications Department on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for a publishing or communications professional to play a key role in delivering high-profile publications, events and research programmes. Programme Manager Publications (Maternity Cover, 11-Month Contract) Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: €43,692€56,139 per annum (€23.96€30.81 per hour) Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day finances of the unit, including invoice processing and budget tracking Deliver and oversee marketing campaigns and public events Lead PR and communications activity in coordination with the Communications Office Coordinate work between in-house staff, editors and external partners Essential Requirements: Degree-level qualification in a relevant field At least three years relevant experience, including two in publishing, Strong project and time management skills Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication Proven experience in marketing and event management Experience handling budgets and using financial software Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders Desirable Skills: Postgraduate qualification in a related field Experience with PR, media monitoring, Canva, Mailchimp or Eventbrite Familiarity with publisher metadata systems Proficiency in Irish is an advantage How to apply: Send your CV to Jane Ryan via the link below.
