Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to lead our DeltaV systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems, including Emerson DeltaV, OSI Pi, PLCs, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for acting as the primary site contact for Global and CoE teams, leading a team of DeltaV engineers in delivering, supporting, and maintaining site DeltaV systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the Governance across the Site for Delta V standards maintenance
* Delivery and execution of the Site Delta V strategy
* Lead the lifecycle management of the system
* Partner with the ES Strategy & New Technology Lead on Test & Learn of new technologies as Site SME
* Delta V Infrastructure Technical Owner & System SME for the site
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the Systems Engineer must possess strong leadership and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have:
* A third-level degree in engineering, science, or an IT discipline
* A minimum of 5 years of leadership and delivery execution experience
* A minimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment
* In-depth technical knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems such as Emerson DeltaV, OSI Pi, PLCs, IT infrastructure & hardware
Working Environment:
The Systems Engineer will be based at the Ringaskiddy site in Cork, Ireland. The ideal candidate will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group and will work closely with the ES Strategy & New Technology Lead on various projects.
