Role Overview:As Events and Venue Operations Coordinator, you'll oversee all aspects of the venue's operations, from planning and executing live music nights and private events to managing front-of-house teams and ensuring smooth daily service. Key Responsibilities:
* Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate and manage live entertainment, seasonal events, private and align events to local festivals.
* Lead day‑to‑day venue operations: Oversee front‑of‑house, support back‑of‑house, manage staffing, schedule shifts, and conduct performance coaching and feedback.
* Operational Oversight: Oversee venue readiness, cleanliness, stock control, and supplier coordination
* Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the venue operates in line with Irish licensing laws, health & safety standards, and public event requirements.
Marketing & promotion: Drive awareness of events across social media, newsletters, website updates, local tourism boards, and onsite posters/promotions.
* Develop & manage events: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse events calendar
* Deliver outstanding customer experience: Ensure all guests have a positive experience—from casual daytime drop-ins to late-night music lovers. Set, oversee, and uphold service quality standards—including ambiance, cleanliness, health and safety protocols, and compliance with licensing laws

* Success in planning and executing a wide range of events
* Minimum 2 years of management experience. Qualification in management is a bonus—but a proven track record matters most.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
* Proficiency with scheduling, booking systems, and Microsoft Office
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the business
* A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to lead by example under pressure
* Familiarity with the Kinsale tourism scene or a genuine interest in the local community and cultural landscape is a plus
* Fluent English language skills
* EU/EEA work eligibility or relevant Irish work permit (support may be available for the right candidate).
