The company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the safe coordination and delivery of projects associated with New Product Introductions, Process Improvements, Automation, Aseptic processing, and Facility/utilities modifications. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that projects meet agreed goals/targets on time and within budget.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating the delivery of processing equipment to the site based on planned timelines and scope. This includes writing User Requirement Specifications, selecting vendors, completing vendor evaluation matrices, and working with Equipment Vendors and Engineering personnel.
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in an Engineering or equivalent discipline/experience, experience of working in Biologics, Pharmaceuticals, or Medical devices industry, and a proven record of project management. They will also possess good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team using their own initiative, and good team-leading skills.
This role requires the ability to work closely with other areas/departments within the organization, undertake travel as required for design review meetings, build inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and other related activities.
* Responsibilities:
* Safely coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams for the delivery of processing equipment.
* Write User Requirement Specifications, select vendors, complete vendor evaluation matrices, and work with Equipment Vendors and Engineering personnel.
* Lead the Project Team participation in Factory Acceptance Testing program.
* Coordinate all equipment documentation requirements, commissioning of equipment, and engineering support during qualification.
* Work with the E&T Senior Manager & System Owner / Project Team to deliver high-quality results.
* Deliver process improvement/cost reduction projects and contribute to a team environment on specific technical problem-solving forums associated with Product manufacture & Aseptic fill.
