We are currently looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team in Gracies Bar & Restaurant Sligo town centre
This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, producing high-quality pizzas while serving a high volume of customers.
The successful candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be a dedicated, reliable team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience working as a pizza chef or in a busy kitchen environment
* Experience with dough preparation, stretching, and baking
* Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume service environment
* A strong team player with a positive attitude
* Flexible with working hours (weekend shifts included)
Responsibilities will include:
* Working alongside the kitchen team to prepare, cook & plate menu items
* Maintaining consistency and quality control
* Reporting to the head chef
* Ensuring work area is kept clean, safe & hygienic
