A passion for technology and software development.Coding Aptitude: Extensive architecture and programming experience and the willingness to learn new technologies quickly.Problem Solver: Ability to apply and lead a scientific approach and creative skills to complex problemsAdaptable & Collaborative: Flexible, thrives in diverse team environments, and communicates clearly and precisely.Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail, defining test strategies and a commitment to continuous learning and quality results.Preferred QualificationsEnd-to-end development across the stacks, in some or all these areas:Modern C++, Swift, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python.Modern component-based UI frameworks – Qt, Cocoa, React, Angular or similar.Back-end: Java (Spring), building and evolving RESTful APIs, WebSocket and API design.Unit, integration and end-to-end testing on both sides of the stack, contract testing and test automation in CI.Practical use of AI tools to assist all aspects or product development, including scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and debugging, with strong validation and ownership of shipped code.Familiarity with Git, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous deliveryOptimising apps on Windows, Mac, Linux and Web platforms and eco-systems.Why Cisco?At Cisco, we're revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
