About the Role
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking to recruit a talented Java software engineer to join our fast-growing Dublin team. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering scalable and robust enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can handle several competing priorities. Above all, we seek an eagerness to learn new things while staying abreast of emerging emerging technologies and industry trends.
Responsibilities
* Designing, prototyping, and implementing robust applications using best-practice, agile development processes.
* Working with technologies including Java, AWS, Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
* Building cloud infrastructure to run and monitor applications, while automating common tasks.
* Collaborating as part of an agile and quality-focused team to deliver tangible value to our customers.
Qualifications
* Excellent programming skills, focusing on Java.
* Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Testing (BDD) practices is preferred, though not mandatory.
* Open to learning new technologies and new problem domains.
* Eager to review code and able to communicate clearly and efficiently.
* Experience with cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
* Genuine enthusiasm for experimenting with technology and software.
* An inclusive, positive, collaborative mindset with the desire to deliver real business value.
* Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
