We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Executive Sous Chef to join a leading hospitality establishment in County Kerry. This is an exciting opportunity to further your culinary career within a dynamic and professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Executive Chef in managing the day-to-day kitchen operations.
* Lead, inspire, and train kitchen staff to consistently deliver high-quality food.
* Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness (HACCP compliance).
* Assist in menu development and innovative dish creation.
* Monitor stock levels, supplier orders, and kitchen cost controls.
* Ensure excellent presentation and consistency in all dishes served.
* Foster a positive and productive kitchen culture.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior Chef (Sous Chef or similar).
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Excellent knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
* Ability to perform under pressure in a busy environment.
* Fluent English (spoken and written).
* Full eligibility to work in Ireland (valid work permit, if required).
* Competitive salary: €48,000 per annum (based on experience)
