My client, a leading residential developer, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their construction site team in South Dublin.
This role will be responsible for implementing the companys safety management system on site and will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to support the successful delivery of the project.
Responsibilities Work as part of the construction management team to maintain a safe and productive site Promote continuous improvement of health & safety standards on site Implement and monitor the Health & Safety Management System Identify site-specific hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place Maintain site safety folders and statutory documentation Ensure compliance with site rules by all contractors Support site management with statutory health & safety obligations Assist with risk assessments, audits and safe systems of work Coordinate contractor compliance and safe working practices Carry out site inspections and address non-conformances Support accident and incident investigations Deliver and contribute to toolbox talks Identify training needs for site personnel and contractors Requirements Minimum 4 years experience managing health & safety in construction Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety IOSH membership preferred Ability to manage health & safety independently on site Strong relationship-building and communication skills Proven ability to manage risk and implement control measures Experience working with multiple contractors and trades Confident chairing and delivering health & safety meetings Salary & Benefits € Performance-related bonus up to 10% Pension with matching contributions Full health insurance 25 days holidays CPD programme and funding Paid maternity & paternity leave Additional annual leave days Life assurance and income protection Employee Assistance Programme Tax saver travel and bike-to-work schemes Profit sharing scheme If interested, please call Eve on or email your CV to Skills: Health and Safety Officer Safety Officer Engineering
