Navan Hire & Hardware, established in 1986 is a leading provider of plant, tool and access hire in the North East. Due to business growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Artic Truck Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transport plant machinery, tools, and equipment to and from customer sites.
* Ensure secure loading, unloading, and proper securing of loads.
* Perform routine vehicle and equipment checks.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and necessary documentation.
* Comply with all relevant road safety and transport regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Requirements:
* Valid CE Licence (Artic Truck Licence).
* Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Tachograph Card.
* Previous experience in transporting plant machinery and equipment is desirable.
* Strong understanding of road safety laws and transport regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
