We are looking for a resilient and self‑motivated person to fulfil the role of Flexi Supervisor to cover the running of our services across Leinster in the absence of the Service Managers. This person will work as part of the Management team within Autism A Chara.
Qualifications
Social Care / Studies or a relevant 3rd Level Qualification at degree level (e.g., Social Work, Psychology).
Relevant qualification received outside the state recognised by NARIC equivalent to Irish level 8.
Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.
Responsibilities
Responsible for completion and monitoring of administration tasks including rota, payroll, manager’s checklists, annual leave and absence, transitions, audits, and any action plans.
Support the Area Manager/PIC during external and internal monitoring such as HIQA/HSE inspections, audits, and peer reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Responsible for health and safety processes in the services including knowledge of, review, and implementation of risk assessments, identification of risks, ensuring health and safety measures are followed and accidents reported.
Take responsibility for the management of the service rota to ensure safe staffing levels.
Skills and Abilities
At least one year of recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.
Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism, placing the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities.
Delivers support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
Proven ability to work on own initiative.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Experience at a similar level with responsibility for supervising/managing a team.
Full driver’s licence required.
