About Your New Job
Support the development and implementation of automated inspection solutions using machine vision and image processing, contributing to design, installation, maintenance, and innovation projects.
Assist in vision system design, including hardware selection, application configuration, and troubleshooting to improve equipment performance.
Provide commissioning and technical support through testing, root cause analysis, and resolution of machine vision issues on production equipment.
Contribute to software and algorithm development using tools such as Cognex and Keyence, supporting image processing tasks like measurement, OCR, and pass/fail inspection logic.
Collaborate across teams to support data handling, system optimization, compliance, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement in machine vision and automation technologies.
What Skills You Need
Level 8 NFQ qualification (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
3+ years' experience in machine vision, automation, or equipment engineering.
Hands-on experience with machine vision systems (preferably Keyence XG/XGX or Cognex In-Sight/Designer/VisionPro), supported by strong math, image processing, and automation/PLC knowledge.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. medical devices or pharmaceuticals), including validation, commissioning, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
