Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & EngineeringDevelop and review BMS/BAS design documents including control architecture, system drawings, wiring diagrams, and control strategies.Customize solutions using Honeywell EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator), Niagara, and ComfortPoint/Open controllers.Define network architecture (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, OPC, TCP/IP) for seamless system communication.Programming & ConfigurationProgram, configure, and troubleshoot Honeywell controllers (ComfortPoint Open, Excel 800, Spyder, XL series).
Develop graphics, dashboards, trends, alarms, and schedules within Honeywell EBI and WEBs-N4 platforms.Implement energy optimization sequences and integrate third-party systems via BACnet/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP, and OPC.Installation, Testing & CommissioningOversee on-site installation, loop checks, and point-to-point testing of field devices (sensors, actuators, VFDs, meters).
Conduct system integration tests, FAT/SAT, and final commissioning in compliance with project requirements and standards.Ensure smooth handover with detailed system documentation, O&M manuals, and client training.Operation, Maintenance & TroubleshootingMonitor and optimize building systems for energy efficiency and occupant comfort.Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in Honeywell BMS controllers, servers, and networks.Provide remote and on-site support, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions.Validation & ComplianceExecute IQ, OQ, and PQ validation protocols for BMS in pharmaceutical and GMP environments.Ensure compliance with ISO, ASHRAE, and local building codes.Project Execution & CollaborationSupport full project lifecycle: requirement gathering, FDS development, programming, testing, commissioning, and handover.Collaborate with mechanical/electrical contractors, consultants, and end-users for smooth project delivery.Provide technical support and training to facility operations teams.RequirementsTechnical SkillsHoneywell platforms: EBI, WEBs-N4, ComfortPoint Open, Excel 800/500, Spyder, XL seriesProtocols: BACnet/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP, LonWorks, OPC, TCP/IPTools: Niagara Workbench, Honeywell CARE, AutoCAD, MS VisioDevices: HVAC controllers, VFDs, chillers, AHUs, VAVs, lighting systems, access control & fire systems integrationIT/Networking: Servers, SQL databases, virtual machines, switches/routers, Windows Server/Active DirectoryQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).3–8 years' experience in BMS/BAS automation engineering (Honeywell preferred).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, energy management, and building services.Hands-on experience with system commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
