Associate Director - Digital Material Operations
This role supports the definition and implementation of Digital Plant systems and capabilities within Material Management and Supply Chain functions. Responsibilities include understanding business needs, user requirements, and ensuring systems are well configured and integrated to meet these needs.
The position combines expertise in Supply Chain and Material Management with Digital Technology to deliver solutions at the Limerick operations. It involves collaboration with IT, Operations, QC, Engineering, and QA teams, particularly focusing on SAP S4 and SAP EWM applications.
Note: Onsite presence in Raheen, Limerick, is required five days a week. Post-initial training, a hybrid work option allowing up to four days remote work per month may be available.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
At least 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
Experience with SAP-driven business process flows in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business needs into user requirements for digital technologies in Material Management and Supply Chain, aiming for automated, paperless, integrated, and data-driven processes.
Develop standard workflows for digital technology application within business processes.
Define strategies for testing digital solutions post-implementation, including collaboration with relevant functions for planning and execution.
Coordinate with operations and IT to develop effective training practices for end users.
Support the deployment of digital solutions and oversee the digital roadmap for Material Operations and Supply Chain.
Initially focus on implementing and sustaining SAP S4 and SAP EWM during site startup.
Build user capabilities in SAP systems across all functions.
Troubleshoot SAP issues during startup, working with IT teams.
Develop SAP S4 and SAP EWM roadmaps for site expansion.
Collaborate with global SAP teams and local IT analysts to optimize technology use.
Embed SAP as a core system, advancing the digital roadmap at Limerick as part of the Digital Plant team.
