Bookkeeper -Part Time Job Description We are working with a Dublin based retail company who are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in handling accounts payable and payroll functions. This is a great part-time role initially being offered on a temporary basis with a strong view to becoming a permanent role Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process and reconcile supplier invoices and statements Respond to and resolve supplier queries promptly Ensure timely payments to suppliers Maintain accurate records and documentation Payroll: Process and run weekly payroll Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and taxes Prepare and distribute pay slips Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and legislation Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts and identify discrepancies Post journal entries and prepare bank reconciliations Month-End Procedures: Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and prepayments Prepare and analyze financial reports General Accounting: Perform general accounting duties as required, such as data entry, filing, and report generation Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Skills: Accounts Payable accounts recievable Reconciliations
