About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Deputy Person in Charge. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to children and lead a team of Social Care Workers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Take charge of daily operations and make key decisions with your line manager.
* Deliver person-centered care according to professional guidelines, national policies, and legislation.
* Manage staff schedules, attendance, and communication systems.
* Contribute to training planning and implementation, including induction for new staff members.
* Lead formal staff supervision, promote keyworker relationships, and oversee daily staff supervision.
* Foster positive attitudes, form interpersonal relationships, and prioritize workload effectively.
* Prepare reports, maintain records, and resident files with key workers, reporting events as required.
Person Specifications:
* A Third Level Qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of management experience in a similar setting.
* Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders, supervising others, and providing community care.
